MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 239 muit be sent in writing to the Dean of the Medical Depart- ment before four o'clock on Monday October after which hour no name can be received The following will be the subjects of Examination Divinity 100 marks Old Testament -The Books of Exodus Numbers and Joshua New Testament -The Acts of the Apostles and the Epistles to the Thessalonians Prayer-Book -The Communion and Baptismal Ser- vices II Professional Subjects 100 marks The Divinity subjects will be as follows Old Testament -The Books of Genesis and Job New Testament -The Epistles to the Ephesians Colos sians and Philippians Prayer-Book -The Baptismal Service and the Occa- sional Services This Scholarship was founded in honour of the late Daniell Esq Professor of Chemistry in this College Its object is to encourage the prosecution of original research in Chemistry This Scholarship is of the annual value of 20 and is tenable for two years It is given every second year and is open to every Student of the College whether matriculated or occasional It is awarded to the Student who shall have executed the best series of researches in the Laboratory of King's College during the two years immediately preceding the election for six months of which time he must have been pupil in the Laboratory 1e same Papers as for the Senior Medical Scholarship 1877-8
