MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 235 the Dean's Certificate of progress in Medical studies will be made dependent upon his getting an aggregate of one-half the marks assigned to the several papers in that examination These Scholarships are tenable with one of the College Medical Scholarships but the holder of Warneford Class Scholarship must resign the same if he gain Class 11 Scholarship All Candidates for these Scholarships muse give in their names to the Secretary on form to be obtained in the College office three days before the commencement of tbe Examination and state which of tlje optional subjects they have selected They must also register their Cards of admission to the Medical Department with the Dean before the first day of examination 1876 An additional Scholarship of U50 per annum for two years will be awarded iu October of this year The days of Examination are fixed as follows Friday September 29 IΟ tn Divinity hour 10 each of the 11" 11 ί 18 10 to צ DIV1S1U ן with short intermissions Saturday September 30 to י Mathfmatics 1it10"1 '0 ch of the tl1ree ub 10 AiHEMAIics jects with short intermissions to Latin Monday October to 11 History 12 to English Literature The other subjects will be arranged as may be most con- ven ient The subjects for Examination will be Divinity Old Testament -The First and Second Books of Kings and the Book of Psalms New Testament -The Gospel according to St Matthew and the Epistle of St James
