GENERAL LITERATURE AND SCIENCE 131 The examination will be conducted by the" Professors of Mathematics and Natural Philosophy unless they shall request the Council to appoint Special Examiner The Medal will not be given unless in the opinion of the Examiners high degree of proficiency is shown in the following subjects Geometry Algebra Plane and Spherical Trigonometry Theory of Equations Analytical Geometry of Dimensions Dimensions Differential and Integral Calculus Mechanics These rules may at any time be modified in such manner as the Council may deem best for the interests of the College prtnctpaPs prices The Principal gives annually two Prizes in books one open to Students of the Second and Third Years and the other to Students of the First Year for excellence in Verse Composition done during the Easter Term iEfje CTlasstcal professor's pri es The Professor of Classical Literature gives annually four Prizes in books two open to Students of the Third and Second Years and two to those of the First Year for Latin Prose Composition done during the Easter Term
