EVENING CLASSES 293 Geography Commerce and Commercial Law Political Economy If he wish to obtain knowledge of the Sciences con- nected with practical Art or to become Chemical Manu- facturer Metallurgist or Miner Engineer or Architect- Mathematics Mechanics Drawing Physics Elementary Chemistry Mineralogy and Geology These Courses should occupy two years and may be attended partly in one year and partly in another in an order to be determined by the Dean of the Department Arrange- ments will be made as far as possible to allow Students who may show on Examination sufficient knowledge of any subject to omit it and substitute another In the course or at the end of each scholastic year viz from October to June except on subjects in which no Summer Classes are held Examinations will be held and such Students only as have obtained at least Certificates of Merit in the subjects fixed for each year of the Technical Course shall be allowed to pass on to the next year's studies At the close of the Final Examination Special Diplomas 01 Honour or of Merit will be given In each Department of study special Money Prize will be given to the Student who most highly distinguishes himself in the Examination requisite for obtaining the Diploma Students who desire to enter on any of these courses of instruction are requested to communicate with the Dean at least week before the opening of the Department
