224 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT III Candidates for this distinction must communicate their wishes together with statement of their claims and qualiti- cations to the Dean in writing on or before the 31st March in each year IV No Associate can be elected Scholar or compete for Prizes or Certificates in the Department in which he has gained his Associateship XIII ENDOWED PRIZES leases' $ri ES The interest of 300 bequeathed by the late Leathes Esq is expended annually in the purchase of large Bible and large Praycr-Book which are given to the two Medical Students who are found most worthy of the same for their pro- ficiency in religious knowledge and for general good conduct All Matriculated Students of this Department may be Can- didates for these Prizes Candidates must produce Certificates of good conduct of regular attendance on the Divinity Lectures and Certificates of having passed two of the Terminal examinations mentioned in Section Clause The next Examination will take place on Monday October 1875 Thefollowing will be the subjects for Examination in 1875 Old Testament -Jeremiah and the corresponding portions of the Historical Books New Testament -The first three Gospels Prayer-Book -The Communion and Baptismal Services The following will be the subjects for Examination in 1870 Old Testament The Books of Exodus Numbers and Deuteronomy New Testament -The Acts of the Apostles Epistle of St James and the 1st Epistle of St Peter Prayer-Book-The Morning and Evening Services
