74 general rules Matriculated Students are those admitted to the regular and full prescribed course of study Occasional Students are those who being unable to attend the whole course are desirous of pursuing any particular subject In addition to the rooms provided in College for limited number of Matriculated Students see 483 some of the Professors and Educational Staff receive Students into their own houses see 426 GENERAL RULES FOR ALL MATRICULATED STUDENTS CHAPEL Matriculated Students are expected to attend the daily Service in Chapel at 10 unless they are specially exempted by the Principal It is earnestly desired that all Students will attend the Sunday Morning Service at 11 unless they are pre- vented by distance or other sufficient cause lectures and examinations All Students whether Matriculated or Occasional are required to be regular and punctual in attendance at the Lectures and Examinations of their respective Departments Register is kept of their attendance and referred to when- ever College testimonials are required No certificate of attendance upon any class will be given to any Student who absents himself from the Examination without permission If Student desire exemption from any single Lecture be is requested to fill up printed form obtainable from the Hall Porter and present it for signature to the Lecturer or if he be in the Medical Department to the Dean of that Department Should he desire to be excused attendance for the remainder of any day he must make similar applica- tion to the Dean of his Department These exemption papers will be submitted to the Principal every week and it is to be understood that they cannot be granted except in case of illness or real necessity If the Parent or Guardian of Student desire that he should be permitted to diminish or modify his work printed
