4S ANNUAL REPORT At Oxford Ireland University Scholarship First Class in Final Classical School Fellowship at Balliol College First Balliol Scholarship Second Class in Final Classical School Open Mathematical Scholarship at Magdalen College At Cambridge Ritchib Trinity College 7th Wrangler Hebblethwaite Trinity College 5th in First Class of Classical Tripos her Α Τ Exhibition at Sidney Sussex College Besides these Honours an admission to the Department of tbe Indian Woods and Forests has been gained by Gass and to the Cooper's Hill College by Francis Wilson -The Department of Applied Sciences has slightly increased in numbers and its work has been pursued with the energy and success which have already won it high place among the Engineering Schools of the kingdom The Crown Agents for the Colonies during the past year placed nomination for the Government Staff at Jamaica at the disposal of the Principal and after consultation with the Professors he nominated to it Mr Death Student distin- guished both for ability and industry Mr Brittle who joined the College after gaining Whitworfh Scholarship for practical work has recently been made Professor at the Hartley Institution Southampton The first nomination to the valu- able appointment placed at the disposal of the College by the liberality of Messrs Easton and Anderson has been made in the person of Mr Hunter one of the most distinguished Students of the College Mr Jacob another Student of the College has obtained an appointment under Messrs Siemens the distinguished electricians who have applied to the College for other Students for the same duty These facts show that Goodwin Milner Gristock Jupp Η Β
