372 THE SCHOOL CLOSE OF THE FIRST HALF OF THE TERM IN WHICH BOY IS TO LEAVE AND IF NOT SO GIVEN THE PAYMENT OF HALF TERM'S FEES WILL BE REQUIRED -Tbe day on which the Half Term expires will be stated in each School Report and Account When the amount due is sent or brought by the Pupil to the Secretary's office card of admission for the Term is given in exchange The Principal requests each Pupil of the School on entering his second Term to contribute the sum of towards the expense of the restoration of the College Chapel and this sum will be found in the accounts but it is to be understood that this payment is optional XVI BOOKS All books in use in King's College School are the property of the College and are supplied to the boys on loan from the Secretary's Office Each boy except those in the Upper Sixth Class is entitled to the use of full set of the books in ordinary use in his Class In the Upper Sixth Class Pupils retain the use of such books as they received in the Lower Sixth but no others are supplied to them except on payment The following are the rules and regulations under which books are lent Each Pupil will be held responsible for the due care and safe keeping of the books supplied to him All books supplied to Pupils remain the sole property of the Council of King's College London and are 011 no account to be lent or made use of except for College purposes
