272 lEbem'ng lasses WINTER COURSE Classes for Evening Instruction are held at King's Col- lege during the months from October to March inclusive II The Course for 1873-4 will commence on Monday October and terminate on Friday March 27 the last fort- night being devoted to examinations III On Friday October at there will be an opening Lecture in the large Hall of the College by Professor Cutler The subject will be Education as an Investment and as an Amusement IV On Sunday October at there will be special opening Service for Evening Class Students and their friends in the Chapel of the College on which occasion the Sermon will be preached by the Rev Professor Plumptre The second half of the Winter Session will begin on Monday January 19 1874 Ī  Vacations There will be Vacation at Christmas commencing from after Friday December 19 Ascension Day Whit-Monday the Queen's Birthday and the Prince of Wales's Birthday are kept as Holidays
