270 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT THIRD TEAR Winter Session -Clinical Medical Lectures Clinical Medical Practice Principles and Practice of Medicine Morbid Anatomy Summer Session -Practical Midwifery and Vaccination Morbid Anatomy Clinical Medical Practice Registration of Testimonials All Certificates must be given on printed Schedule and signed by the respective Lecturers Students will be supplied with Schedules at the tin of their first Registration in London at this Hall and in the Provincial Towns by the Registrars of the Medical Schools All Students are required personally to Register the several Tickets of Admission to Lectures and Medical Practice within the first fifteen days of the pionths of October and May Examination in Arts An Examination in Arts will be held at the Hall three times in the year viz on the last Friday and Saturday in the months of January April and September The subjects of Examination will be announced in the Medical Journals three months before each Examination Candidates for this Exami nation will be required to enter their names in book kept at the Beadle's Office not less than Week before the day of Examination together with Fee of One Guinea Professional Examinations The Examination henceforth will be divided The Written Examination will take place on Wednesdays and the viva voce Examination on Thursdays Those Students only who have to undergo the writing will therefore have to attend at Half-past Four o'clock on Wednesday Every Candidate intending to offer himself for Examination must give notice 9n or before the Monday previous to the day of Examination and must at the same time deposit all the required Testimonials with the Fee at the Office of the Beadle where attendance is given every day except Sunday from Ten to Four o'Clock Saturdays Tenia Two The Examination is divided into two parts and is conducted partly in writing and partly viva voce First Examination which may be passed after the Second Winter Session embraces the following subjects Physicians' Prescriptions Anatomy and Physiology Genera and Practical Chemistry Botany and Materia Medica Second Examination at the termination of the Medical studies Principles and Practice of Medicine Pathology and Therapeutics Midwifery including the Diseases of Women and Children Forensic Medicine and Toxi- eology Certificate of attendance on not less than 20 cases will be received from legally qualified Practitioner
