254 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT XXXI Regulations antr Kftjuircments of mining fiouicfi Every effort is made to ohtain the latest regulations but Student intending to offer themselves for examination before any of the Examining Bodies are recommended to make direct application to the Secretaries of those Bodies for any information which they may require Regulations of the University Lonpon respecting Degrees Students of King's College London are admitted to Examin- ation for Degrees in Arts Science Law and Medicine and for the honours exhibitions and scholarships conferred by the Senate of the University of London Candidates for Degrees must register their names and pay the required fees to the Registrar All required Certificates must be transmitted to the Registrar at least fourteen days before the Examinations begin Matriculation The Matriculation Examination takes place twice year commencing on the second Monday in January and tbe last Monday in June respectively Fee Ā£2 No Candidates are admitted unless they have produced Certificates of having completed their sixteenth year The subjects for Examination are Mathema- tics Natural Philosophy Chemistry Classics the Engli-h Language the Outlines of English History and Modern Geography and the French or the German language No one will be approved by the Examiners miles he shows competent knowledge of these subjects Notice The following Resolution passed by the Senate on the 12th of February last will take effect at the Matriculation Examination of June next That Greek be no longer compulsory on Candidates at the Matriculation Examination but be ranked as optional with French and German so that it shall be sufficient for any Candidate to pass in any one of these three Languages It was further resolved at the Meeting of the Set ate on Manh 19th That at the next two Matriculation Examinations June 1873 and January 1874 credit he given to Candidates in Greek in addition to French or German
