46 Annual Eepoet presented to the Court of Governors and Proprietors on Friday April th 1872 Sir Thomas Watson Bart in the Chair The Council of King's College London have the honour to present to the Court of Proprietors their Annual Report first of the regular work of the College and next of the special circumstances of the past year -The number of those who attended the Classes in the Lent Term of 1872 was as follows no name of Student or Pupil being reckoned more than once Matriculated Students Theological Department and Class of Candidates Department of General Literature and Science Department of Applied Sciences 55 Medical Department 154 Evenins Classes Department 73 391 Occasional Students Evening Class Department 411 Other Departments 61 472 The School 456 Total 1319 As compared with the List of 1871 it will be noticed that in the College the number of Matriculated and Occasional Students has slightly decreased in the Evening Classes and increased in the other departments The number of Boys in the School shows steady increase 6S
