280 evening classes to Mr Adolphus Senior Grammar Class Gram- matical Composition Abstract and Precis-Writing and Indexing to Mr Scrymgour Senior Class Shakespeare Richard II Coriolanus Julius Caesar Antony and Cleopatra On Friday to Mr Adolphus Junior Grammar Class Dictation Parsing and the Analysis of Sentences to Mr Scrymgour Junior Class Wordsworth's Preludes Bacon's Essays Mr Adolphus Senior Grammar Class History and Structure of the English Language to Mr Scrymgour Senior Class History of English Literature during the period of Shakespeare Each Student is free to choose for himself as Course of English the two weekly Lectures that supply him with the information he most wants Arrangements may be made in the Secretary's Office for attendance on double Course or at third Lecture in each week Students attending two Courses of English may compete for two of the English Prizes but as competitors for the prize for proficiency in five subjects they will be credited only with the marks earned in one English examination -In addition to the usual Prize in the Senior Class an additional Prize is given hy the Early English Text" Society ENGLISH HISTORY Days and Hour of Attendance-Tuesday and Friday from to Lecture -III -Recapitulation of previous Course down to point then reached
