GENERAL RULES attendance upon any class wilt be given to any Student who absents himself from the Examination without permission If Student desire exemption from any single Lecture be is requested to fill up printed form obtainable from the Hall Porter and present it for signature to the Lecturer ory if he be in the Medical Department to the Dean of that Department Should he desire to be excused attendance foe the remainder of any day he must make similar applica tion to the Dean of his Department These exemption papers will be submitted to the Principal every week and it is to be understood that they cannot be granted except in case of illness or real necessity If the Parent or Guardian of Student desire that he should be permitted to diminish or modify his ork printed form obtainable at the Secretary's office must be filled up and after being submitted to the Lecturer from whose Lectures the Student desires exemption will be signed by the Principal As irregularity is generally injurious both to the individual Student and the College system it is requested that these exemptions may not be asked for without good and sufficient cause GENERAL Absence from College is not allowed without previous permission from the Principal except in the case of illness or sudden emergency If Student is absent without such permission from either of these causes it is especially re- quested that immediate notice be sent by post addressed to the Secretary by the Student himself or if he be residing at home by his Parents or Guardian or if he be residing with one of the Professors by the Professor with whom he resides The Academical Cap and Gown are to be worn within the precincts of the College except in the dissecting-room laboratories and workshops -Each Professor Lecturer or other officer of the College will consider it his duty to report either to the Dean
