GENERAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE ACADEMICAL YEAR 1871-72 -The Terms in the Theological General Literature and Applied Sciences Departments are as follows Michaelmas Term Oct to Dec 21 1871 Lent Term Jan 18 to Mar 27 1872 Easter Term April 18 to July 1872 -New Students are admitted two days previously to the above dates unless it be otherwise specified B- In the Medical Department- Winter Session Oct 1871 to Mar 27 1872 Summer Session May to July 27 1872 -In the Evening Classes- Summer Session April 22 to June 28 1872 -In the School- Michaelmas Term Sept 20 to Dec 20 1871 -New pupils are admitted on the preceding day Winter Session 1st Half Oct to Dec 21 1871 2d Half Jan 22 to Mar 27 1872 Lent Term Easter Term Jan 17 to March 27 1872 April 17 to July 24 1872 Ascension Day and Whit Monday the Qneen's Birthday and the Prince of Wales' Birthday are kept as holidays
