226 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT Ia-Palient Clinical Clerks -There shall be six Iu-Patient Clinical Clerks two for each Physician Candidates must have served the office of Out-Patients Clerk for the period of six months and have attended six months' in-patient Medical Practice The viva voce examination shall be chiefly in Anatomy and Morbid Anatomy the written examination in Materia Medica and in the Practice of Medicine Candidates shall also if required take case or cases chosen by the Physicians from patients in the house at the time of examination In-Patient Clinical Clerks shall attend regularly at the hour appointed accompany the Physician during his visit and keep correct report of all the cases belonging to the Physician under whom they respectively serve In every medical case upon which post-mortem exami- nation is held the Clerk under whose care the patient has been shall immediately after the holding of such exami- nation furnish an abstract of the case to the Pathological Registrar In-Patient Clinical Clerk for Physician-Accoucheur -There shall be one In-Patient Clinical Clerk for the Physician for Diseases of Women and Children and Physician-Accoucheur He shall have served the office of Out-Patient Clerk for period of six months The viva voce examination shall be chiefly in the Anatomy of the Viscera and Morbid Anatomy the written examination in Materia Medica and Practice of Medicine with especial relation to the Diseases of Women and Children He shall as one of his duties under the direction of the Physician-Accoucheur's Assistant assist in the Maternity Department by attending midwifery cases Physician's Assistant -A student shall not be elected to this office at period later than six years from the time of his Ma- triculation in the Medical Department he shall be qualified at the date at which his duties commence by some diploma to practise Medicine and shall have served to the satisfaction of the Physicians the office of In-Patient Clinical Clerk for the
