MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 211 The Examination for 1872 will be in the following subjects Divinity The Book of Psalms Perowne's Introduction recommended The Acts of the Apostles The Epistles to the Thessalonians Westcott's Bible in the Church II Hospital Practice Candidates will be required at the time of examination To write from memory the particulars of four cases two Medical and two Surgical which shall have been treated in the Hospital during the previous Academical Year Each Candidate may select his own cases but no two cases selected by him may be taken from the practice of the same Physician or Surgeon To give in writing with the aid of notes taken by himself at the time the substance of four of the Clinical Lectures two Medical and two Surgical which shall have been delivered in the Hospital by the Medical and Surgical Officers thereof during the previous Academical Year The Lectures to be selected by the Examiners To answer either viva voce or in writing as the Examiners may direct four questions on cases two Medical and two Surgical which shall have occurred or been treated ithin the Hospital in the practice of the Physicians and Surgeons thereof in the current Session Candidates who have been holding Hospital Appointments in the year preceding the Exa- mination will have the liberty of stating at the time they give in their names which of the three
