204 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT XI THE ASSOC1ATESHIP At the end of each Winter Session the Medical Board lay before the Council the names of those Medical Students whom they recommend to be elected Associates of King's College London on account of general good conduct and regular attendance upon Lectures Examinations and Hospital Practice For the attainment of this distinction All Candidates Must have studied four years at King's College in the manner recommended by the Professors see Section VIII or must have studied Three Winter and Two Summer Sessions at King's College and afterwards have obtained the Diploma or Licence of some recognised examining body II Must have obtained some one of the following dis- tinctions Medical Scholarship The office of Physician's Assistant House Surgeon Physician Accoucheur's Assistant or of Assistant Demonstrator of Anatomy served with distinction together with one prize Three Medical Prizes in different subjects of which the Warneford may be recorded as one or two In- Patient Clinical Appointments served with distinc- tion together with Two Prizes First-class Honours at the University of udon at one of the Examinations for the Degrees of Medi- cine Surgery or Science subsequent to the Pre- liminary Science Examination Such other professional distinction as shall be deemed sufficient by the Medical Board
