188 medical department This Hospital is' entirely supported by voluntary contribu- tions Subscriptions and Donations will be thankfully received by the Treasurer Cheere Esq 31 York Terrace Regent's Park by Cunningham Esq King's College by Waldron Esq King's College Hospital and by Messrs Twining Co Messrs Coutts Co Messrs Drum- mond Messrs Hoare Messrs Williams Deacon Co All Donors of Thirty Guineas in one sum or by three annual instalments and all Subscribers of Three Guineas per annum are Governors for life Copies of the Act of Parliament may be obtained from Cunningham Esq King's College London 24 Demonstrations on the Operations of Surgery These are given by Professor John Wood in the Anatomical Department This Course is especially adapted for Candidates for the Army Navy and Indian Medical Appointments and for the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons Each pupil is provided with those parts of the subject which are necessary for doing the operations himself under the superintendence of the Demonstrator who will pre- viously explain and illustrate the steps of each operation and the relative anatomy of the parts concerned Fee for the Course 61 6s without instruments if instru- ments are provided for the use of Students there will be an extra charge of Ten Shillings Course of Bandaging and the Use of Surgical Appliances is also given by Professor Wood at the commencement of the Summer Session at King's College Hospital This is intended for the instruction of Candidates for Dresserships and House Surgeoncies The mechanical treatment of Fractures is practically exemplified Each pupil applies the different
