APPLIED SCIENCES 155 detailed report is sent at the end of each term to the parents or guardians of each Student both as to his progress and as to his general attention and good conduct during the term If Student be absent from the College without permission from the Principal or without notice sent to the Secretary letter is immediately addressed to the parent or guardian notifying the fact The General Library is open daily to all Students for the purposes of study See Regulations page 399 limited number of Students are admitted to reside within the College see page 400 and some of the Gentlemen con- nectedwith this Department receive Students into their house See page 403 Dinner is provided in the College Hall every day at Six o'clock for such Students as may wish to avail themselves 01 that accommodation See page 404 II Occasional Students or those who being unable to attend the whole Course are desirous of studying any par- ticular subject Every Class is open to such Students on payment of the specified amount of fees see page 150 but such Students are not eligible to compete for Prizes IV fees The Fees payable by Matriculated Students amount to 14 per Term for the first six Terms including the Work- shops and 15 after the sixth Term together with 41 5s id for entrance fees The College Cap and Gown which are worn by all Matri- culated Students may be purchased from Messrs Cox and Son 28 Southampton Street Strand
