MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 213 II The Registrars must not hold any other appointment or occupy themselves in any public duty in or out of the College or Hospital III salary of Fifty Pounds per year is to be paid to each Registrar IV The appointments are to be made for period of one year each at the least and under no circumstances for longer period than two years No one is to be re-elected to second year of office unless the Committee of the Hospital shall certify to his good conduct in the Hospital during his past year of service and the Dean of the Medical Department to the proper discharge of his duties during the same period VI No one is to be appointed Registrar under the age of twenty-one years or above the age of twenty-eight and he must previously to his election have served the office of Physician's Assistant or Assistant House-Physician House- Surgeon or Assistant House-Surgeon Physician-Accoucheur's Assistant or some office of importance in the Hospital equal to those named or be an Associate of King's College London VII Any one appointed Medical Registrar for one year must if re-appointed after its expiration be nominated as and perforin the duties of Surgical Registrar during the second year and any person appointed Surgical Registrar for one year must if re-appointed after its expiration he nominated as and perform the duties of Medical Registrar during the second year VIII The Registrars are to attend daily at the Hospital and are during the Medical Sessions to enter their daily attendance in book to be kept for that purpose IX In addition to the usual short Abstract of every Hos- pital Case recorded each Registrar is to record at the least during each year of his service Ten Medical or Ten Surgical Cases of an important character severally noted and prepared for publication together with reports of post-mortem Exami- nations and results of Chemical and Microscopical Investi- gations with Drawings
