212 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT Bantcll gbcfiolarsbip This Scholarship was founded in honour of the late Daniell Esq Professor of Chemistry in this College Its object is to encourage the prosecution of original researcti in Chemistry This Scholarship is ofthe annual value of 20 and is tenable for two years It is given every second year and is open to every Student of the College whether matriculated ox occasional It is awarded to the Student who shall have executed the best series of researches in the Laboratory of King's Collegeduring the two years immediately preceding the election for six months of which time he must have been pupil in the Laboratory The next Scholarship will be awarded at Easter 1872 The Papers of all Candidates must be placed in the hands of the Secretary by four o'clock on Tuesday March 25 1872 after which time no document will be received XIII ambroo&c iHrttcal an& urgital $ltettstwrsf tps These Reyistrarships were founded May 1867 by Thomas Godfbii Sambroqke Esq of 32 Eaton Place In the hope of benefiting and with the desire of in- creasing the usefulness of that most admirable institution King's College London with the Hospital in intimate con- nexion therewith in the which have always taken and continue to feel so deep an interest as well as with view to the advancement and adding to the general usefulness of Medical Science Regulations laid down by the Founder Two Registrarships are to be established for Medical and Surgical cases
