THEOLOGICAL DEPARTMENT 81 HOODS Under the special sanction dated March 26 1862 of his Grace the late Archbishop of Canterbury permission to wear distinctive Hood isgiven subject in each case to the Principal's written approval to Associates of this Department Forms of application for permission to wear the Hood may be obtained from the Secretary The cost of the Hood- 11 lis 6d -must accompany this application The names of those Associates who have obtained the Principal's permission to wear the King's College Hood are marked with η in the list of Associates XI TRENCH GREEK TESTAMENT PRIZE The former Pupils and Friends of the Right Reverend Richard Chenevix Trench having presented to the College the sum of 156 the same has been invested in London and North Western Railway per cent Debenture Stock and the annual interest less expenses will be given in Books to the Theological Student who shall pass the best examination in the Greek Testament II This examination is to be held in the Michaelmas Term of each year and all Gentlemen who have been Matriculated Students of the Theological Department at any time during the current year are entitled to be Candidates III The days of examination for 1869 are fixed for Friday and Saturday October and in the following subjects The Epistles to the Ephesians and Colossians Trench on the Miracles The Prolegomena to Vol of Alford's Greek Testament The Geography of the New Testament IV Names of Candidates must be sent in to the Secretary before on Saturday October
