נ5 ANNUAL REPORT thrown into every department of the working of King's College the zeal energy and ability which might be ex- pected from his antecedents and which justify the strongest hopes that its efficiency and usefulness will be largely in creased The following gentlemen have been added during the past year to the list of Honorary Fellows Conway Evans for twelve years Assistant Physician at King's College Hospital Allan Cunningham Lieut Royal BeDgal Engineers Assistant Principal in Thotnason College in Province of India The Council regret to announce that the financial position of the College is not satisfactory and that they have been forced to make call of per cent on the salaries of ihe Staff in order to secure the £500 surplus for the extinction of the debt The Council in presenting this Report cannot but be aware that it contains some points which may cause anxiety but they nevertheless feel every confidence in the soundness of the work and the principles on which it is conducted and trust that under God's blessing King's College may maintain and advance its high position among the educational institu fions of the country
