300 THE SCHOOL VI THE WORKSHOP Director of the Workshop-G Timme Esq In connexion with King's College School Workshops have been established supplied with the necessary apparatus for Wood-work Metal-work Turning and Planing Pupils of the School have the opportunity of attending these Workshops after the regular school-hours on Wednes- days and Saturdays on payment of 11 Is per Term They have special facilities for becoming practically acquainted with the details of Carpenters' Joiners' and Cabinet work so as to enable them to construct for them- selves Models either in Wood or Metal VII UNIVERSITY OF LONDON Classes as part of the regular School work are formed for Pupils preparing for the Matriculation Examination of the University of London The following are special con- ditions attached to an attendance on this Class Anv boy desirous of entering the Class must first obtain the special permission of the Head Master II He is required to pay in addition to his usual School fees Ā£1 11 6d per term for the Practical Chemistry Course III He will also be expected to provide at his own cost such books as are specially required for the Examination VIII EXTRA INSTRUCTION Special Classes are formed after school-hours during Term-time with the view of preparing Candidates for all
