257 lEbemng lasses WINTER COURSE 1869-70 The attention of Students is specially invited to the alterations and additions made in the following parts of this Syllabus viz Section Clauses III IV Section IV Sec- tion VII Clause IV Section Clauses VI VII VIII Section XII Clauses III IV VI General Arrangements Classes for Evening Instruction are held at King's Col- lege during the months from October to March inclusive II The Course for 1869-70 will commence on Monday October 11 and terminate on Friday April the last fortnight being devoted to examinations III On Friday October at there will be an opening Lecture in the Large Hall of the College by the Rev the Principal on the Relations of General and Technical Education The Professors and Lecturers will meet Students on this evening from 30 to for the purposes of arrangement and classification IV On Sunday October 10 at there will be special opening Service for Evening Class Students and their friends in the Chapel of the College on which occasion the Sermon will be preached by the Rev Professor Plumptre The second half of the Winter Session will begin on Thursday January 27 1870 II Vacations There will be Vacation of five weeks at Christmas commencing from after Wednesday December 22 The Queen's Birthday the Prince of Wales' Birthday As- cension Day and Whit Monday are kept aS Holydays
