250 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT fee of Five Guineas prior to being again admitted to that Exami nation which additional fee is also retained Five Guineas part of the sum of Sixteen Pounds Fifteen Shillings the balance of the whole fee due for the Diploma and paid prior to the Pass Examination is retained and after any two consecutive failures at the Pass Examination the Candidate is required to pay an additional fee of Five Guineas prior to being again admitted to the said Pass Examination which additional fee is also retained On and after the let of October 1868 all Candidates presenting themselves for the final Examination for the Diploma of Member of the College will be required to pate an Examination in Medicine at the College or to produce recognised Degree Diplomaf or Licence in Medicine before receiving the Diploma Dental Surgery The fee for the Certificate of fitness to practise as Dentist shall be Ten Guineas over and above any stamp duty Regulations respecting the Professional Education of Candidates for the Examination in Dental Surgrry Candidates will be required to produce the following Certificates Of being twenty-one years of age צ- Of having been engaged during four years in the acquirement of professional knowledge Of having attended at School or Schools recognised by this College not less than one of each of the following Courses of Lectures delivered by Lecturers recognised by this College namely-Anatomy Physiology Surgery Medicine Chemistry and Materia Medica Of having attended second Winter Course of Lectures on Anatomy or course of not less than twenty Lectures on the Anatomy of the Head and Neck delivered by Lecturers recognised by this College Of having performed Dissections at recognised School during not less than nine months Of having completed course of Chemical Manipulation under the snperintendence of Teacher or Lecturer recognised by this College Of having attended at recognised Hospital or Hospital in the United Kingdom the Practice of Surgery and Clinical Lectures on Surgery during two Winter Sessions Of having attended at recognised School two Courses of Lectures upon each of the following subjects viz -Dental Anatomy and Physiology Human and Comparative Dental Surgery Dental Mechanics and one Course of Lectures on Metallurgy by Lecturers recognised by this College Of having been engaged during period of not less than three years in acquiring practical familiarity with the details of Mechanical Dentistry under the instruction of competent Practitioner 10 Of having attended at recognised Dental Hospital or in the Dental department of recognised general Hospital the Practice of Dental Surgery during two Winter and two Summer Sessions
