APPLIED SCIENCES 159 The Arts of Construction ן Practical Chemistry for one year Photography for one Course in addition to the regular fees for six Terms III Must produce Certificate of proficiency in study as evinced by either Special Certificate of Honour Two Prizes One Prize and three Certificates of Approval Such Professional distinction after leaving King's Col- lege as shall be deemed sufficient by the Principals and Professors An Associate cannot be elected Scholar or obtain Prize in the Department in which he gained his Asso- ciateship For tbe privileges of an Associate see page 413 but an Associate of this Department is not free to attend the Laboratories or the Workshop without payment of the usual fees VIII General Library The Engineering section of the Library contains large number of Standard Works which treat especially on the subjects taught in this Department to these the Students are referred by the Professors during the course of Lectures and they have the opportunity of perusing them in the Library in the intervals between the Lectures or of taking them home for limited peried subject to the Rules and Regulations stated on page 392 Fee for admission of Occasional Students £1 Is per term or £2 2s per annum
