the school 361 such other occasions as shall be appointed by the Principal in addition to giving such attendance for practice as the Director of the Choir shall appoint In consideration of these services they receive free of expense all necessary instruction in Vocal Music and pay only half the fees required from other boys viz £4 per Term including stationery and the use of books The Entrance Fees £2 3s 66 also have to be paid The engagement of the College continues binding as long as the Pupil merits by good behaviour the distinction of being Choral Exhibitioner and as long as in the judgment of the Director of the Choir he is fitted to take part in the Chapel services Boys ceasing to be Choral Exhibitioners on account of losing their voices are allowed if they have served the office properly for not less than three years to continue in the School on the same terms as actual Exhibitioners Candidates must be under the age of Ten unless with the advantage of previous musical training Section XX literary union of king's college school Under the sanction of the Principal and Head Master Society has been formed under this name consisting of all members of the Sixth Class for the discussion of Literary Scientific and Political subjects It is also open to such members of the School as being fifteen years of age shall on ballot obtain three-fourths of the votes of the Society There is an Entrance Fee of 2s 6d and Terminal Subscription of the same amount The Society meets on every Wednesday during Term at 1-30
