358 THE SCHOOL III IN MATHEMATICS AND ARITHMETIC MATHEMATICS Nine Prizes each Term to the boys passing the best Examination in the following subjects First Prize -Euclid General Algebra Conic Sections Differential Calculus &c Second Prize -Euclid General Algebra Mechanics Third Prize -Euclid General Algebra Trigonometry Fourth Prize -Euclid Div VII Algebra Division VII Fifth Prize -Euclid Div VI Algebra Division VI Sixth Prize -Euclid Div Algebra Division Seventh Prize -Euclid Div IV Algebra Division IV Eighth Prize -Euclid Div III Algebra Division III Ninth Prize -Euclid Div II Algebra Division II II ARITHMETIC Three Prizes each Term to the boys passing the best Examination in the following subjects First Prize -General paper in Arithmetic Second Prize -Arithmetic Div to VII Third Prize -Arithmetic Div to IV The Prizes in Mathematics and Arithmetic are open to the whole School and are given without reference to the Classes in which boys are placed in other subjects No boy who obtains Mathematical Scholarship will be afterwards eligible for Terminal Prize in Mathematics No boy can obtain the same Mathematical or Arithme- ttcal Prize twice except the highest in each subject and that not twice in the same Academical Year No boy can compete for the same Prize which he has gained before No boy can compete for lower Prize if he has already competed for higher one in any previous Term
