the school 343 himself to be deficient or which he mavwish to acquire more fully Instruction may also be obtained within the College in Italian several of the Oriental languages Fencing Drilling and Singing on payment of the specified Fees Section VIII rules as to the admission of pupils Every person wishing to place Pupil in the School must produce to the Head Master certificate of good conduct signed by his last instructor New Pupils will be admitted at the commencement of each Term viz in 1868-69 on Tuesday September 22 January 19 and April 27 All boys above the Third Class will be placed in tbe Classical or Modern Division as their parents or guardians shall select Pupils may at any time upon the special appli- cation of the Parent or Guardian to the Head Master be moved from one of these Divisions to the other Pupils leaving Schools the summer holidays of which begin early in June are admitted to this School on or about the 15th of June in each year for the remaining half of the current Term on payment of one-half the amount of Fees which is charged for whole Term Pupils so admitted take their summer vacation at the same time with King's College School and parents are not subject to the inconvenience ofthe double holiday The half term however is not permitted to count in reckoning up the time Pupil has been in the School with the view of his becoming candidate for the Scholarships New Pupils are also admitted for the half term in the middle of the Michaelmas and Lent terms The general age for admission is from nine to sixteen ears of age
