54 × APPLIED SCIENCES parents or guardians of each Student both as to his progress and as to his general attention and good conduct during the term In case of Student being absent from the College without permission from the Principal or without notice being sent to the Secretary letter is immediately addressed to the parent or guardian notifying the fact The General Library is open daily to all Students for the purposes 0f 6tudy See Regulations page 381 limited number of Students are admitted to reside within the College see page 382 and some of the Gentlemen con- nected with this Department receive Students into their houses See page 385 Dinner is provided in the College Hall every day at Six o'clock for such Students as may wish to avail themselves of that accommodation See page 386 II Occasional Students or those who being unable to attend the whole Course are desirous of studying any par- ticular subject Every Class is open to such Students on payment of the specified amount of fees The Fees payable by Matriculated Students amount to 14Z per Term for the first six Terms including the Work- shops and 15 after the sixth Term Upon entrance the Fees for the first two Terms must be paid in advance in addition to the following The terminal fees are to be paid and the usual card of admission taken out upon the first day of each Term The Principal has practice of requesting each Student of this Department on entering his third Term to contribute the sum of Is towards the expenses of the restoration of the College Chapel and this sum will be found in the accounts Section IV fees Matriculation Fees Library Cap and Gown The Calendar
