THE SCHOOL 347 IN PENMANSHIP One Prize each Term to the best Writer in the Division of Modern Instruction No boy can get this Prize more than once and it will be withheld from any boy who has failed in the terminal examination in Mathematics and Arithmetic It tpi- 3ffl0Rii130 11a 3101 1£ 9ג se9 soiflO IN DRAWING One Prize in Geometrical Drawing and two in Landscape Drawing one for each division every Term for the best Drawing made by any Pupil The Professor also gives one Prize in each Term for the best drawing from model or for the best coloured drawing IN GERMAN Three Prizes in each Term one for the Division of Classics &c and two for the Division of Modern Instruction to the best German Scholars but no boy can gain more than one Prize in the same Academical year IN FRENCH Six Prizes are awarded in each Term one to the best boy in each Class of the first division but no boy can gain Prize twice in the same division The name of the best boy in each Class of the Second division will be honourably mentioned at the Public Distribution IN SCIENCE One Prize given by the Council in each Term to the Pupil in Division Α and one Prize given by the Lecturer in each Term to the Pupil in Division who shall answer best in the written examination upon the subject of the experimental lectures -Any boy who obtains the Science Prize the first Arithmetic Prize or the French German or Drawing Prize will on attaining the highest rank in the same subject in any subsequent term be entitled to Certificate of Merit
