336 THE SCHOOL Section VIII hours of ATTENDANCE The duties of each day commence at 30 with Prayers and the reading of the Scriptures in the College Chapel from which none of the Pupils are allowed to absent themselves without tbe special permission of the Head Master The Hours of Attendance are- Monday Tuesday Thursday and Friday from 30 to Wednesday ditto Saturday ditto 12 No boy is allowed to leave the School precincts during these hours without the express permission of the Head Master and tbe Council strongly object to any application being made for this permission unless under circumstances of unusual importance or of necessity Pupils who are irregular in their attendance or inattentive to their studies will be detained one hour longer under the charge of Master and in each case card is sent to tbe parent or guardian stating the cause of the detention This card has to be signed and returned to the Master by whom it is sent out sufficient time at one o'clock is allowed for luncheon which is provided in the College at regulated expense Those parents who may wish their sons to dine during this time may avail themselves of an arrangement made for this express object in the Dining Hall ofthe College One of the Masters is always in attendance The expense of dinner without beer is- Section IX DINING HALL AND LUNCHEON For single Dinner For Ticket entitling the Pupil to dine on Monday £ Tuesday Thursday and Friday On the Six Days of the Week 10 per term 10
