the school 330 Section VII exhibitions given at the time of entrance At the commencement of the Michaelmas Term 1867 every boy under 15 years of age who enters the School at that time or who entered it in the preceding Easter Term will be entitled to compete for two Exhibitions of the value of 15 per annum for three years One will be given in each Division of the School No boy over 15 on the day fixed for the opening of the School in the Michaelmas Term can compete for these Exhi- bitions and in counting the number of marks made by each candidate in the examination an allowance of per cent per month will be made for age to all boys under 15 payment of 01 will be made to each Exhibitioner at the beginning of every Term in which he attends the School but not otherwise for three years The first payment will be made in the Term succeeding that in which he gains the Exhibition The following will be the subjects of Examination Old Testament History Homer Iliad II Virgil JEni VI Euclid Book Algebra including Simple Equations Arithmetic Outlines of English History Geography of Europe The Examination for the Division of Modern Instruction will embrace the same subjects substituting Voltaire's Charles XII for Homer
