244 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT The Primary Examinations are held in the months of January April May July and November and the Pass Examinations generally in the ensuing week respectively Candidates will not be admitted to the Primary or Anatomical and Physiological Examination until after the termination of the second Winter Session of their attendance at recognised School or Schools nor to the Pass or Pathological and Surgical Examination until after the termination of the fourth year of their professional education Candidate having entered his name for either the Primary or Pass Examination who shall fail to attend the Meeting of the Court for which he shall have received card will not be allowed to present himself for examination within the period of three months from the date at which he shall have so failed to attend Candidate referred on the Primary Examination is required prior to his admission to re-examination to produce Certificate of the per- formance of dissections during not less than three months subse- quently to the date of his reference Candidate referred on the Pass Examination is required prior to his admission tn re-examination to produce Certificate of at least six months' further attendance on the Surgical Practice of recognised Hospital together with Lectures on Clinical Surgery subsequently to the date of his reference The fee of Five Guineas paid by each Candidate prior to his Primary Examination will not be returned but will be allowed in the fee on his admission as member Dental Surgery The fee for the Certificate of fitness to practise as Dentist shall be Ten Guineas over and above any stamp duty Regulations respecting the Professional Education of Candidates for the Examination in Dental Surgery Candidates will be required to produce the following Certificates Of being twenty-one years of age Of having been engaged during four years in the acquirement of professional knowledge Of having attended at School or Schools recognised by this College not less than one of each of the following Courses of Lectures delivered by Lecturers recognised by this College namely-Anatomy Physiology Surgery Medicine Chemistry and Materia Medica Of having attended second Winter Course of Lectures on Anatomy or course of not less than twenty Lectures on the Anatomy of the Head and Neck delivered by Lecturers recognised by this College Of having performed Dissections at recognised School during not les than nine months Of having completed course of Chemical Manipulation under the superintendence of Teacher or Lecturer recognised by this College
