medical department 209 The following are the subjects ofthe Medical Examination Senior Scholarship Medicine Surgery Midwifery Forensic Medicine The examination papers in Medicine and Surgery will comprise questions on cases which have occurred in the Wards ofthe Hospital during the Winter Session Second-Tear Scholarship Anatomy Physiology Chemistry Light Electricity Botany Materia Medica Junior Scholarships Anatomy of the Bones Muscles and Ligaments and of the Viscera of the Abdomen and Thorax General Anatomy and Physiology of the Organs of Loco- motion Digestion and Circulation Inorganic Chemistry Heat and Static Electricity -Attendance on Course or Courses of Lectures on Botany or Chemistry by Pupil of any other Department of the College whether Matriculated or Occasional does not prevent such Pupil if he afterwards enter as as Matriculated Medical Student from competing for the Medical Scholar- ships with Students of the same standing in the Medical Department as himself Section XV an& Basent These prizes are open to all Matriculated Students not being Associates of this Department
