MEDICAL DEPARTMENT 197 5Marnefor& rt IBniofoment These Prizes were founded by the Rev Dr Warneford for the encouragement of the study of Theology among the Matriculated Medical Students of King's College There are two Prizes the first consisting of medal of the value of ten pounds and books of the value of fifteen pounds the second consisting of medal of the value of five pounds and books of the value of ten pounds The Candidates for these Prizes are examined in-1 Two of the branches of Medical Science taught in the CoUege to be selected by the Candidates want of sufficient knowledge in the Medical part will disqualify for examination in the Theological The Holy Scriptures Butler's Analogy All Candidates for either of these Prizes must produce Cer- tificates of having regularly attended the daily service of the College Chapel as weU as Certificates of having passed two of the Terminal Examinations mentioned in Section page 168 No one can be Candidate who has exceeded his fourth year of attendance at the Medical Lectures of the College and no Student who has obtained the first Prize in one year can be Candidate in any subsequent year The next Examination wiU take place on Thursday and Friday Oct and 1867 on the first day in Medicine on the second day in Theology The names of aU Candidates must be sent in writing to the Dean of the Medical Department before two o'clock on Monday September 30 1867 after which hour no name will he received The subjects for the Divinity part of this Examination in 1867 will be- The Kings and Prophets of the Kingdom of Judah Bishop Butler's Analogy Part Chap ii iii Part II Chap vii and Conclusion
