APPLIED SCIENCES 159 No Prize or Certificate will be given except for absolute merit Certificates of having obtained College Prize made out under the signatures 01 the Principal and Secretary may be obtained by application at the College Office Fee for each Certificate 2s 6d Section VIII the associateship Every Candidate for this distinction Must have been regular in his attendance at Chapel un- less specially exempted by the Principal on the ground of living at along distance from the College and at the Divinity Lectures II Must have pursued his studies as Matriculated Student of this Department for nine Terms This period is reduced to six Terms in the case of those who have previously passed three Terms in the Depart- ment of General Literature and Science or who have passed two years previously in King's College School and who had spent at least one Term in the highest class of either Division before leaving it In either of these cases however the Candidate for the Associateship must pay the fees for The Arts of Construction ן Practical Chemistry 0r one e&r Photography for one Course in addition to the regular fees for six Terms III Must produce Certificate of proficiency in study na evinced by either Two Prizes Or one Prize and two Certificates of Honour Or one Prize and three Certificates of Merit Or passing satisfactory final Examination in all the regular subjects taught in this Department Or the having obtained professional distinction after leaving King's College
