290 EVENING CLASSES Prize will be given by Cunningham Esq to tbat one of the Associates of the current year who at the examinations in the 15 classes which the rules require him to attend before receiving that rank has gained the highest number of marks No Prize will be gi en for less aggregate than 000 marks The marks of only subjects including Divinity can be reckoned in" one Winter Session and however long the Student's course of study is extended Divinity can only be reckoned three times Half marks only will be allowed for classes attended in the Summer Session II Prize will be given by the Council to each of the first Students who gain the highest aggregate number of marks in all the subjects not exceeding in number of which Divinity must be one which they respectively bring up for examination at the end of the Winter Session provided only that no Prize will be given for less aggregate than 300 marks III In each Class for which not less than 10 Students have entered there will be offered Prize or Certificate of honour at his option to the Student who shall be highest in the examination provided he shall gain not less than three-fourths of the marks allotted to the subject See Rule IV Certificates of Merit One Certificate to each of the Students next in succession who shall gain not less than three-fifths of the marks allotted to the subject IV Whenever Class is divided into two or more divisions each division will be treated as distinct Class as regards Prizes and Certificates Prizeman of former year if he continues to attend the same division of any subject or the same subject if there
