iĀ£ applied sciences Section VI SCHOLARSHIPS GENERAL RULES Good conduct regular attendance at Chapel and upon the Divinity Lectures together with competent knowledge of such subjects in Divinity as shall be previously fixed upon are indispensable for the admission of any Student or Pupil to be Candidate for Scholarship in this College The condition of regular attendance at Chapel" will be dispensed with in the case of those who by reason of living at long distance from the College receive from the Principal formal exemption from such attendance but no Student exempted on other grounds will be eligible as Candidate II Every Scholarship is held subject to the conditions laid down in Clause and subject to forfeiture for mis- conduct III In case there should be no candidate of sufficient merit in any year the Scholarship of that year will not be awarded IV Any Scholar desirous of obtaining Certificate of having gained Scholarship may obtain the same by application to the Secretary and on payment of the fee prescribed by the Council The payments for all Scholarships are made quarterly and the amount may be applied for in the Secretary's office any day succeeding the second Friday in the months of January April July and October The Hugh's ScSoIarettpB see page 98 the atttell Scjolar- etlip see page 201 are open to all Matriculated Students not being Associates of this Department
