GENERAL LITERATURE AND SCIENCE 99 propose to examine the students both viva voce and by written papers at the end of every Terra and especially at the close of the academical year The next Term will begin on Thursday October on which day at an Introductory Lecture will be given by John Cutler Esq On the Study of the English Roman Hindu and Mohammedan legal systems with especial regard to their salient points of agreement and difference This lecture will be free to all the Candidates who were selected at the Indian Civil Service Examination of June 1865 Gentlemen may be admitted either as Matriculated Students of the College by entering to the following course Any two of the Languages named in the list English Law and Jurisprudence Hindu Law Mahomedan Law Jurisdiction and Procedure of the Courts of Law in India Political Economy or as occasional Students by joining any one or more classes on payment of the specified fees If Matriculated Students wish to attend more than two language classes they will be permitted to do so on payment of the fees named below Per Annum if Per Term paid in one sum on entrance The fees for Matriculated Students are £22 £60 All fees are payable in advance at the beginning of the Term The fees for Matriculation are £5 17s 6d or in the case of Graduates of any University who wear their own ac demical dress £4 6rf
