Μ general literature and science There is an Examination every year for all Students at the end of the Michaelmas and Easter Terms At these Examina- tions the Students are classed according to their proficiency The Examination in June is followed by public Distribution of Prizes detailed Report is sent at the end of each term to the parents or guardians of each Student both as to his progress and as to his general attention and good conduct during the Term In case of Student being absent from the College without permission from the Principal or without notice being sent to the Secretary letter is addressed to the parent or guardian notifying the fact The General Library is open daily to all Students for the purposes of study See Regulations page 377 limited number of Students are admitted to reside within the College see page 378 and some of the Professors as well as others connected with the College receive Students in their own houses See page 381 Dinner is provided in the College Hall every day at Six o'clock for such Students as may wish to avail themselves of this accommodation See page 382 II Occasional Students or those who being unable to attend the whole course are desirous of studying any par- ticular subject Every class is open to such Students on payment of the specified amount of fees See Section IV Section III THE ASSOCIATESHIP Every Candidate for this distinction- Must have been regular in his attendance at Chapel unless specially exempted by the Principal on the ground of living at long distance from the College and at the Divinity Lectures
