medical department 175 inga on Physiological Science as well as on the practice of their profession The operations of Surgery may be performed here on the dead body during the summer months III Physiology General and Morbid Anatomy The Course consists of about 80 Lectures and has special reference to that knowledge of general Anatomy Physiology and Morbid Anatomy which is essential to the Practitioner of Medicine The Lectures are illustrated by preparations from the Museum by recent Dissections and Diagrams of Structure in human and comparative Anatomy by Experiments and by the Demonstration of Objects in the Microscope Students of the first and second years attend these Lectures Demonstrations on Morbid Anatomy will be given during the Winter Session and short course of Lectures during the Summer Session Students of the second and third year attend the Lectures and Demonstrations on Morbid Anatomy Students attending the Lectures on Physiology and General and Morbid Anatomy are strongly recommended to examine the physiological series of preparations in the Hunterian Museum of the Royal College of Surgeons whenever they have time and it is very desirable they should attend course of Lectures on Comparative Anatomy and Physiology The text-book used in this class is The Physiological Ana- tomy and Physiology of Man by Dr Todd and Mr Bow man IV Chemistry An extensive Philosophical Apparatus Mineralogical and Metallurgical Collections valuable Chemical Museum and complete Laboratory are attached to the Chemical Department The Course is divided into two Parts Part comprises preparatory view of the Forces which concur in the production of Chemical Phenomena with de-
