applied sciences Cfttrb Year Subjects of examination at the end of the Easter Term Practical Chemistry Levelling Optics and Optical Instruments Spherical Trigonometry and Integral Calculus Drawing of Machine or Engine or of parts thereof to be made at the College under the supervision of the Professor the subject of the drawings to be determined on and given out at the commencement of the Session Arts of Construction To the first in order will be awarded Scholarship of Ā£30 To each of those next in order deserving such distinction Certificate of Honour or Certificate of Approval Separate Class Prizes arc given for Practical Chemistry for the Arts of Construction and for the Workshop The Scholar of the Year is not eligible for these prizes These Scholarships Prizes and Certificates are open to all Matriculated Students of this Department who are at least in their seventh Term but who have not exceeded ten Terms either in this Department or in this Department and in that of General Literature taken together The payments will commence in the October succeeding the election and will be continued quarterly during one year pro- vided the Scholar has become an Associate of King's College London or shall during the three months preceding each Quarter-day the months of July August and September excepted have continued to attend lectures as Matriculated Student of the College This Scholarship will not be given after 1867 Subjects of examination at the end of the Easter Term Seconto Year Mathematics Scientific Course Mechanics Chemistry Drawing
