314 EVENING CLASSES Most of these Classes have special reference to the and Matriculation Examinations at the University of London The hour of Meeting will be 30 each Class will meet once in the week and will last one hour and half The Fee for each separate subject will be 11 Is for Four Classes 10s for Five Classes 4s VIII Prizes and Certificates At the close of each Winter Session Examinations are held in each subject Prizes and Certificates of Honour and Merit are then given Prize will be given to each of the first Students who gain the highest aggregate number of Marks in all the sub- jects not exceeding in number of which Divinity must be one which they respectively bring up for examination at the end of the Winter Session provided only that no Prize will be given for less aggregate than 300 marks II In each Class for which not less than 10 Students have entered there will be offered Prize or Certificate of honour at his option to the Student who shall be highest in the examination provided he shall gain not less than three-fourths of the marks allotted to the subject See Rule IV Certificates of Merit One Certificate to each of the Students next in succession who shall gain not less than three-fifths of the marks allotted to the subject III Whenever Class is divided into two or more divisions each division will be treated as distinct Class as regards Prizes and Certificates
