304 EVENING CLASSES mining operations -for Coal Iron Copper Tin Silver Gold Mercury Antimony Zinc Cobalt &c -will be specially con- sidered The Student is directed how to proceed in examining new country to collect and record his observations and mark his specimens in order to render them useful to more experienced geologists at home In order more fully to exemplify the applications of the Science the Professor will endeavour to make arrangements with the members of his Class to take them to various Museums in London including the Museum of Practical Geology and the British Museum also on excursions into the country where the actual field-work of the Geologist will be explained and illustrated XXII ZOOLOGY Day and Hour of Attendance-Thursday from to The Course of Zoology during the ensuing year will em- brace complete survey of the organization natural history and classification of the Animal Kingdom These Lectures will be illustrated from the Museum belong- ing to the College and by an extensive series of Diagrams XXIII PRACTICAL CHEMISTRY Day and Hours of Attendance-Friday from to Course of 10 Demonstrations on Analytical Chemistry This Course lasts from October to Christmas The Pro- fessor then begins new Course for which fresh Ticket must be taken out The Professor will meet his Class on the first Friday Evening of the Course viz October 14 1864 and January 27 1865 at but the Course will not be begun unless ten Students have at that time paid fees for attendance Each Student must be provided with Bowman's Practical Chemistry
