220 MEDICAL DEPARTMENT Every Scholarship is held subject to forfeiture for mis- conduct In case there should be no Candidate of sufficient merit in any year the Scholarship of that year will not be awarded Any Scholar desirous of obtaining Certificate of having gained Scholarship may obtain the same by application to the Secretary and on payment of the fee prescribed by the Council The payments for all Scholarships are made quarterly and the amount may be applied for in the Secretary's office any day succeeding the second Friday in January April July and October The IngliB ScfioIarBliips see page 110 and the Stbtmtg gtf 01ars iv see page 113 are open to Matriculated Students of this Department who have completed one and not exceeded four Winter Sessions Jpentov Sttiolarsfjtps One in each year £40 tenable for Two Tears These Scholarships are open to all Matriculated Students of this Department being also Perpetual Pupils of the Hos- pital who have completed their third Winter Session but have not exceeded their fourth Academical Year Srronu16 Tear Scfiolarsljipe One in each year of £30 tenable for One Tear These Scholarships are open to all Matriculated Students of this Department being also Perpetual Pupils of the Hospital who have completed their second Winter Session but have not exceeded their third Academical Year This Scholarship can be held only so long as the Student continues to attend Lectures as Matriculated Student at King's College
