GENERAL LITERATURE AND SCIENCE 87 Junior Division General Lectures -English History in the-Fourteenth and Fifteenth Centaries Special Lectures -Anglo-Norman Institutions Every Student is expected to procure Professor Brewer's "Atlas of History and Geography Books of reference are recommended from time to time and are provided in the College Library VI VII French and German Lectures are given- In French on Monday and Thursday from 3£ to In German on Tuesday and Friday from to 4£ Special Instruction is also given from 4J to to those wishing for additional time at these subjects II Students of the First Year those who have not kept three Terms are required to attend the Lectures of the Professor of French Students of the Second Year those who have kept three but not six Terms are required to attend the Lectures of the Professor of German Students who have kept six Terms are required to attend either French or German at the option of their Parents or Guardians III In case of any Student being desirous from any cause to attend French instead of German or German instead of French out of the regular course this privilege will be granted by the Principal but an additional fee of Is per Term or 21 12s 6c for the Year must be paid if it is wished to attend both languages in the same Term IV At the examination in June Prize of Books and Certificate of Honour are if merited given to the first and second Students respectively in the First Division of each of these subjects and Prize and Certificate of Approval to the first and second Students respectively in the Second Division
