THE SCHOOL 339 The payments for all Scholarships are made quarterly and the amount due may be applied for in the Secretary's office any day succeeding the second Friday in the months of January April July and October tglis Scljolarstiijig These Scholarships are open to Pupils of the School See page 98 Such Pupils as may wish to compete for these Scholarships are admitted on the recommendation of the Head Master to the Special Lectures in History and English Literature at the reduced fee of per Term See page 89 dFtret Class £ eljoIare ji Tno Scholarships each year of £30 each tenable for three years one for prtt- ficiency in Classics and the other for proficiency in Mathematics These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been four complete Terms in the School were not eighteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the election These two Scholarships are tenable together -The examinations for these Scholarships embrace all the subjects taught in the respective Divisions to which they are attached SeronH Class Srflolarsfitps Tour Scholarships every year of £20 each one for the regular icori of each division of the School and txo for proficiency in Mathematics These Scholarships are open to all Pupils who having been in the School three complete Terms were not in the case 01 boys belonging to Division sixteen and in the case of boys belonging to Division Β fifteen years of age on the 1st of January preceding the election Either of these Division" Scholarships is tenable with Mathematical Scholarship 12
